Here's to you

Here's to the poets, who lived for creation,
excelled at art ..not social integration.
Here's to the lovers who had given their heart,
and yet every romance... had fallen apart.
Here's to those with endless passion,
who stayed in hope.. but never in fashion.
Here's to those who wished to be free..
who never 'snapped out' of that fantasy
here's to the bodies too fat... or too thin..
here's to the faces with beauty 'within'
here's to those who didn't fit the mould,
here's to those who will never grow old.
I raise a toast to all of my kin
gifts to the world, but will never fit in.
