Miracles

Another year over, and yet just begun,
a new era born, birth of the 5th sun
and ancient prophecies would have us believe
that a new time is coming, a time to be freed.
Then comes the date, and did we enlighten?
the world transform? did the skies brighten?
so cast the dreamers into dark and despair.
what happens now, are we going anywhere?
where are the light beings with chariots of fire?
a whole new dimension.. that didn't transpire
but then it hits you, and the veil is lifted
a new world is made, not something gifted
they saw a new age, and so did we
and so WE ARE the mayan prophecy
so to those who hoped, who dreamt the dreams
the miracle lives.. it's more than it seems.

Here's to the poets, who lived for creation,
excelled at art ..not social integration.
Here's to the lovers who had given their heart,
and yet every romance... had fallen apart.
Here's to those with endless passion,
who stayed in hope.. but never in fashion.
Here's to those who wished to be free..
who never 'snapped out' of that fantasy

You choose to Hate

Sometimes you need a reminder to put you in your place,
like people laughing, spitting in your face...
You might have changed since then

Got my girls back on this one.

He thought he could get away with it, and it wouldn't bite him on the ass. Now he's in some quick sand - and he's sinking fast. Messing with hearts like a butcher with a knife, only to discover it brings him only strife. Got the cheek to act like it's not his fault - like she's to blame. Now it's him - and only him - in the suspected frame. Kept someone who loved him in purgatory wondering what the hell is going down?? Casually takes her money - and puts it about town. "But baby this" "But baby that" - "it's not my fault"...that you're a TWAT? She cared about him, cared for him - wasted her time and money. It's time to wake up - this ain't even funny. You ain't a man - you're just a boy - she's a person - not your toy. Hey, look - you're no stranger to drama? here it comes in a dose of karma! Don't spend her money, lie and stamp on her heart...you've got some making up to do - I'd make a start!!!

Self-reflection

Notice how your life events link together in consequence of where you are now, who you are, and how you look at things. You loved a lot, you lost a lot... but look what it brings. Don't hurt over the past, don't let it last, it will only bring you back to emotions that don't serve you. Don't cry over those who didn't care - they don't deserve you. Rise not to anger and let it consume you. You might be right but it will only doom you - it's not like you'll be finished, like it's the end - we've got a long way to go but you will only extend the miles. Make the world one filled with smiles. Use the brain you were given to research and grow, use the heart you were given to remember and know. Don't presume to think that you know everything, or that anything can be explained. Life's an adventure, are you not entertained? Ask yourself, who am I? who do I want to be? make the change inside and you will be free of the constricts of this world invented - remember without spirit you cannot be contented. In you I see me, In me there is you, you can change everything, what will you do?
